At the renaissance fair

Life is ephemeral.
We need to treasure one another.

Death is final —
a cement wall.
Physically impossible to breach.

I can sense the other side.
My heart feels it.
Yet I am unable to touch.
Unable to grasp.

Yet love
somehow
filters through
the smooth cold concrete.

Many blessings

Jerrod
