My e-bike was stolen. They cut the bicycle rack with power tools. I get so disheartened with today's world. People vote to punish others they don't like. A person virtually needs to live in an armored car, and a madman has entered the fray trying to rule the world. Here is a piece I wrote last night to try and dissipate at least some of the anger. By the way, has anyone tried to fill out a police report? They are not user-friendly. Then comes the joy of the insurance company, if my e-bike is covered.

My e-bike was stolen; they cut the bike rack at work, which would require power tools. I get so disheartened with today’s society. I try to stay a good man and advocate for those in need, however, thieves with power tools are not in need. Now, the joy of finishing a user-unfriendly police report, then hoping my tenant’s insurance will cover some of it. I wrote the following especially for those who took my bike._Lingering Rancor_Liars and thievesImpersonating good menIn their rancid worldWhere dignityHas no placesmelling of beer and sexNo friendsNo tomorrow— sickened souls, emptyHoly books turn awayAs mothers shakeTheir heads —It’s not their fault —God takes notesI don’t have toUnwanted children leaveLingering rancor
